Advancing education in Judea and Samaria

On Wednesday May 31, 2023 representatives of the Yesha Council held a work meeting with Minister of Education Yoav Kisch. 

Among the topics we raised at the meeting:

•Strengthening and adding additional teachers and educators

• The advancement of construction plans for educational institutions

• Planning tours for students from all over the country to the heritage sites in Judea and Samaria.

Participants at the meeting included senior education ministry staff members along with representatives from the Yesha Council and the heads of the regional councils including:

Shlomo Ne'eman, Mayor of the Gush Etzion Regional Council and Chairman of the Yesha Council

Avi Roeh, head of the Sha'ar Shomron Council

Aryeh Cohen, head of the Megilot Council

David Elhayani, head of the Jordan Valley Council

Shai Alon, head of the Beit El council

Hananal Dorani, head of the Kedumim Council

Eyal Gelman, Head of the Hebron Council

Haim Mendel Shaked, head of the Har Adar Council

Assaf Mintzer, head of the Elkana council

Yishai Rosenzweig, head of the Alfei Menashe council
